Our Stone Pale Ale review:
This Pale Ale from Stone Brewing Company has the right stuff. It pours a nice clear, medium caramel/amber color with decent carbonation and head retention/lacing. The smell has a bit of hops along with a malty and slightly fruity component. I got some apple and citrus. The taste pretty much follows the smell except that there was some nuttiness there. It was crisp and clean with some hops to cut through everything in the aftertaste. It’s a medium bodied beer and is very drinkable. Stone has a good rep and this beer does nothing to dimminsh that. Give it a try!
