Bring On Spring

After an unusually cold and wet Winter we finally had a warm day this past weekend so I decided to enjoy a beer out on the porch.  In honor of Spring’s imminent arrival (fingers crossed), I picked up the newest seasonal offering from Sierra Nevada, Glissade, which is a Golden Bock, and gave it a try:

Glissade is a great “Winter into Spring” beer.  There is a nice malty character along with some fresh fruit flavors that get you in the mood for warmer weather.  It looks good in the glass, has a slightly sweet aroma with fruit and malt, and tastes fresh and new.  There is just enough hops to clean things up.  Drinkability is excellent.  Glissade is an easy drinking beer that goes perfect with sitting outside on a warm day.
