Wow, 1 year on YouTube!  I pretty much forgot about it but I realized yesterday that I’ve been posting my video beer reviews to YouTube (and this blog) for just over one year.  So to celebrate I’ve come up with a contest to build subscribers and video views.  Watch the video for details but basically I’m going to give cold hard CASH to someone!  Why not you?:

In addition to the money I’ll be paying out to people who watch/comment on YouTube, I’ve got a special additional contest for you loyal blog readers!  Here’s a screen-shot showing the number of subscribers to the blog as of March 1, 2010:

You’ll see that there are 50 subscribers.  Well, I want more people to subscribe to the blog so I’m going to give a separate cash “bounty” for each new blog subscriber.  Here’s how you can win:

1. Tell everyone you know about this great blog and “make” them subscribe
2. Comment to this post to enter the drawing and leave something constructive if possible (beers you want reviewed, site upgrade suggestions, etc) or just say “Hi!”
3. At the end of this month (March, 2010) I’ll post the subscriber count and for every new subscriber in the month  I’ll pay a bounty of 25 cents per new blog subscriber, to a maximum of $30 (120 new subscribers), with a minimum of $10 given away.
4. I’ll take all comments to this post as of March 31st, 2010 at midnight and pick a winner randomly.  I’ll send the cash (minimum of $10) to the winners PayPal account or send an Amazon gift card if you want that instead.
5. Only one entry per reader/commenter.
