Hi Zak,

Glad you liked the review! You guys certainly did a good job w/Bar Mitzvah, it was worth the wait! It is a very complex beer that will only get even better with age. I do have an extra bottle but I think I'll be getting another couple as well. What are you guys planning for #14? I'll keep an eye out for Rejewvenator. If I find it I'll review it.

Hey Mark. This is Zak Davis from Shmaltz Brewing Company. Thanks so much for picking up that bottle of Jewbelation Bar Mitzvah. I remember seeing your review of Jewbelation 12 back in March and I'm really glad that this one lived up to the expectation. We've been thrilled so far with the response. This will also be a great beer to age for a couple of years. Right now, Jewbelation 12 is tasting ridiculous, and I expect that Bar Mitzvah will probably age equally well. Also, if you happen to find a bottle of this year's Rejewvenator, it would be worth checking out as well. Half doppelbock, half Belgian-inspired dubbel, brewed with date juice. Really interesting and complex. Thanks again for the support. L'Chaim!! ~Zak

I wish we got Goose Island down here but we don't :-( I have heard lots of great things about it. I might need to give our friends in Chicago a call and see if they can send some down.

Never heard of this brewery. I will seek it out though.

On a side note, do yourself a favor and seek out Goose Island's Bourbon County Stout (you can thank me later). It just came out a little less than a week ago...it is an absolutely fantastic beer. My local beer stop got them in this past Wednesday and is already sold out, so grab it when you can.
