Who Is This BikeBeerBBQ Guy?
BikeBeerBBQ is my social networking alter ego. My name is Mark, a regular nearly middle-aged guy who lives in the Atlanta, Georgia area. I’m married and in addition to spending time with my wife I love Road Cycling (Bike), Craft Beer (Beer), and cooking on my prized Big Green Egg (BBQ). I discovered Twitter and quickly became enamored with the whole social networking thing. The short (140 character or less) updates that Twitter allowed fit perfectly with my typically short attention span
Why Does This Blog Exist?
BikeBeerBBQ.com exists as a way to combine all of my various blogging efforts under one umbrella. Over the last couple of years I have started blogs dedicated to each of my interests but have found the whole process of updating multiple blogs to be a bit painful and time consuming. The result is that some blogs got a lot of attention while others got very little. So, I decided to take my Twitter user name and create a blog around that as it pretty much describes me (at least when I’m not working).

Hey, man, great review on the SweetWater IPA! I agree with you that’s it a classic example of an American IPA. I think, though, that I’d rate it higher than you did, but I’m certainly not trained as a beer judge.
Anyway, I’m in the Atlanta area, too, and I’m also a homebrewer. I thought it might be cool to meet up someday and have some nice beer and BBQ. Sorry, but I’m not a biker. Hopefully 2/3 works!
Thanks!

Hi Mike,
Glad you liked the review. I’m definitely not a beer judge either. I really like the Sweetwater IPA and who knows, if I were to review it again I might rate it a bit higher. I’m finding that my taste changes over time. Do you ever visit the Brick Store in Decatur? It’s my favorite beer bar. Maybe we can meet there and have a couple of beers. We usually go on Sundays because the parking is free
but Saturdays are fine as well. We’re thinking about heading over there the weekend of Dec 5-6. Let me know if that works for you.
